Oh my goodness, folks! I’m not exactly sure what’s happening here, but I’m absolutely gobsmacked by the news that The Worst Best Man earned a starred review from Booklist, which called the book an “irresistibly fun romance spiced with a zesty sense of humor” and a “tantalizing tale of love, family, and friendship.” If you’ve been following my news, you probably know this review follows starred reviews from Kirkus and Publishers Weekly. I’m just so delighted that my homage to my mother and tias is getting the love I hoped for. Although my tias are no longer with us, I know they’re smiling down at me, and my mother, who’s been my cheerleader from Day One, is beside herself with joy. As for me, I’m still in a state of shock. It’s a good kind of shock, though. The very best kind.
